Secret Spots: Garden Picnic in Point Loma

Point Loma is one of San Diego’s oldest neighborhoods and they have the architecture to prove it! The Spanish-Colonial Revival of Liberty Station (now a hub for dining + the arts) and any number of stately homes in the area will show a range of styles dating from the late 1800s to now.

Nestled away in a quiet neighborhood is our favorite secret garden, created as a memorial to a beloved wife: The Lucy Evans Lauren Memorial Garden. A meandering path takes you past sculptures, flowers, and a gazebo where you can enjoy the view.

Grab a quick bite at Mitch’s Seafood or a picnic basket from Pop Up Picnic Co and head over to see this sweet, San Diego secret spot!
